Commissioners are Volunteers

A Commissioner pledges to undertake responsibility over certain areas of the project for the term of the commission. During that time period the Commissioner is the duly appointed representative of the organization for those areas of responsibility. All information about that area of the project is organized by and obtained through that commissioner.

  • A Commission on this project could be between 1 week and up to a maximum of 6 weeks
  • No Commissioner may legally bind the organization
  • All Commissioners shall be responsible for:
  1. Coordination of their area’s work with Photo/Video for image capture of work the entire week
  2. Completion of a detailed written report form – by end of week for the person(s) succeeding
  3. Attendance and report at 2 mid week dinner meetings
  4. Attendance and report at Sunday Public Open House
  5. A written pledge to accept the responsibilities of the Commission

If you assume duties and responsibilities of a commission, then you will have responsibility for a specified area of the project during the period of your commission.

You agree to complete the tasks within your objective as required to meet performance thresholds.

Staff will provide you with the resources you need to do your job.

Depending upon the number of Commissioners present at each of the six weeks of testing, the responsibility for the tasks and objectives will be divided and allocated between them.

The list to the left is an outline of the general duties that need to be supervised and fulfilled each week.

If you decide to become a Commissioner, you do not need to decide what you will do, since that will be determined when everyone is present, and the delegation of duties is by agreement.

As we get closer to the project start date, this page will provide important information for commissioners and will have links to other pages for training, forms and procedures to follow.
